Bia & Fred

Florence is more than Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo, its streets breathes art and history and those who live in the city and play a different role that the tourist seeks wants to experience it in their own way. This was the goal of Bia and Fred's photo shooting.

They live in Florence for almost 6 years and had never done a couple session before. I met Bia, a talented Brazilian singer, in 2022 while doing a personal project. In that occasion, I photographed her alone and now in 2025 I had the opportunity of capturing her daily life with Fred, also a musician, in their house located in the historical florentine city centre.

We started with a warm and tasty coffee and went to the flower market where they frequently go to buy flowers and species. Back to their house, we explore mainly the window light in the living room while she played the guitar. A cozy and fond photography session.

I'm used to work with natural light since 100% of my photo shootings are done outside in the streets of Italy. I simply love the possibility to explore new scenarios even if I am going tophotograph in a location that I already know. Working with Bia and Fred was challenging. Having to deal with smaller spaces and minimal light made me work even better my creativity and I loved the result!

At the end, it doesn't really matter where you are. The most important thing is to capture your story, the love you feel for each other, your friendship and companionship.
