Carine & Almir

I know Almir since 2018 through a common friend in Brazil. I only met him because I was moving to Dublin, Ireland, where he was living as well. The Emerald Island was my home for almost 4 yeras and during all this time we have never actually managed to meet in person because our working schedules were just simply uncompatible. Even though, we kept contact with each other and a couple of years after I moved to Italy he told me he was going to get marry and wanted me to be the photographer.

Carine is originally from France and Almir has Italian origines, both wanted to have an Italian marriage because of a very much particular detail: Almir asked Carine's hand in Italy, specifically Pisa, Tuscany. It was a matter of getting back to that speciall place where they had decided to share a life together for the rest of their lives.

They said yes embraced by the Tuscan Hills in a stunning Wedding Venue located in Val D'Orcia where also the preparation and celebrations took place, the Agriturismo Podere Lamino.

As I always put myself as a sincere and loving observer in order to capture the truth within the facts aiming to highlight those moments where vulnerability, love and joy are most visible, on this day wasn't different. Carine and Almir gave me so much honesty, realism, emotion and authenticity! A truly genuine record of their wedding day that I am pleased to share with you!
